What I mean by clean scents, is that I only use fragrance oils that come with a safety data sheet, and I make sure that there are no carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, or acute toxins. In other words, no toxins that are considered a health hazard to humans. Clean candles also refers to the use of 100% natural wax, which means your home won't be filled with black soot.
Parabens are water soluble, so you won't find them in any candles or wax melts. You will also never find them in any other LFM products.
Yes! They are 100% vegan!
The wax is natural, but the fragrance oils are not. Natural does not necessarily mean non-toxic, and there are many fragrances on the market that are free from common toxins found in cheaper alternatives. However, the massage candle is scented only with essential oils, so that one is 100% natural.
No candles are 100% soot-free. The closest you can get are candles that are made from beeswax or coconut wax. Paraffin candles produce the most soot. Those are the candles that will leave your air filters black. Soy is definitely a lot cleaner, but not completely soot-free. I use a blend of soy and coconut wax in all my candles, and I will never use paraffin wax in my candles.
The wax melts will not evaporate, so the dye will stay in the meltpool. I am more careful with the ingredients in the candles, since they burn and get released into the air.
For every candle sold on my website or at markets (excluding wholesale and 1oz samples), $1 is donated to an organization combating human trafficking. We donate to both international organizations, such as International Justice Mission, and local Florida organizations, such as Breaking Chains Foundations.
As of Dec, 2024, a total of $351 has been donated.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for store credit. Please see below for more information on our return policy.
RETURNS
All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition.
RETURN PROCESS
To return an item, please contact us to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, and the return address.
Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.
REFUNDS
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will send you an email with a code for store credit. No store credit will be issued for candles that have clearly been used. For defective or damaged products, please contact us at the contact details below to arrange a refund or exchange.
